As a child, I've had fish and multiple parrots, but everything changed when I got my dog Lucky at the age of 9. I've cared for him with the help of my family since then and he is a happy and healthy 11-year-old now. I taught him basic tricks such as sit, lay down, beg and give paw. I also trained him into waiting in a spot until called and walking beside me without a leash. It took time and patience but I had plenty of that. I also worked as a volunteer in a shelter for a summer so I have been around other animals as well and learned basic care. I am not scared by larger breeds and I've also dealt with aggressive individuals before, which means I won't back down easily. I know when a firm grip is needed but I also understand when someone needs just a bit of love and care.
