I've had animals all my life, and I am comfortable around any pet that you might suggest! I started (but did not complete due to paid work commitments) an animal management course a few years ago, which focused on small animals, reptiles, insects and rodents. I have excellent instincts when it comes to animals, especially dogs. I trained as a dog groomer for 2 years, and have furthered my knowledge of dog behaviour and handling through day to day contact with dogs of many different temperaments! Most just need a little understanding and patience. I have a lot of experience in pet-sitting (mainly dogs and cats and small mammals) both at my own home and as a 'boarder.' I can provide several excellent references if required. I'm very active and have no problem keeping up with energetic animals, and I'm happy to take on the challenge of any unusual pets!
