I am at my happiest when I am around animals and have been surrounded by a huge variety since I can remember, from fish to horses (including many breeds of cats and dogs). We have always had family cats and dogs, meaning I have experience of puppy training, walking, care of older pets, care of pets following operations, performed various types of pet maintenance including tick removal, dressing changes, teeth brushing, ear wax cleaning, grooming, feeding, litter changing, medicine administration and bathing. A few years ago my family rescued an older cat who had a variety of long term health conditions including diabetes, and anxiety. Throughout the time that we had Mackenzie I learnt how to care for him and ensure he was at his happiest. Our family Laborador Winnie is now 5 years old, when we got her as a puppy I was responsible for pet proofing the home, teaching her tricks, walking and house sitting her. Over the years I have not only been responsible for family pets but have also looked after friends and neighbours pets, doing duties such as walking , house sitting and feeding.
