I previously volunteered at (A doggy daycare) where I was expected to tend to the dog's visiting. This included feeding, walking, playing and basic care for the dogs at the centre. I also done a Level 3 animal management course, of which I achieved a distinction*. During this course I learned a lot about animal welfare including the animal welfare act 2006. During my time at college I gained experience working with many different types of animals. I also have experience walking a variety types of dogs including larger dogs such as Alaskan Malamutes and huskies. I previously worked at Kittea Cakes Café where I worked as a waitress and main animal caretaker. My role as animal caretaker was to care for the cats in all ways possible. This included feeding, playing and cleaning out litter trays. I also was in charge of health checking the cats daily, making vet appointments when necessary and administering both flea and worming medication. I also got great experience with cats during my college course.
