Tap house - Huddersfield January 2017 to Present My main responsibilities in The Tap House correlate with what the chefs need. My role can consist of general cleaning and sterilization of utensils and plates or help in the preparation of food dishes. I make sure that everything I do is at a rate and quality that the chefs are impressed with. I personally made sure that everything cleaned in the kitchen was at a fantastic hygienic standard and that this correlated with the hygiene rating in the premises which was 5*. I am in charge of the washup Rota and set all shifts for our Kitchen porters. On top of general cleaning in the kitchen I also do front of house and clean the bar and furniture when I'm needed and I clean The Tap house and The Nook this includes: • General cleaning and dusting • Sweeping and getting into to tough corners and crevasses • Vacuuming the bed and breakfast when needed to • Cleaning down work services and tables • Moping the floor to a high standard getting rid of grime whilst still keeping the floor fairly dry • Sweeping up for broken glass and cigarette butts outside the businesses so they look presentable for business
