I worked as a home care worker for 9 years before having my son. My daily duties included personal care and domestic cleaning. Preparing and serving meals . Taking clients shopping or doing their shopping for them and administering medication . I also worked as a supervisor for a few years and enjoyed this role. I trained and organised care staff, worked closely with social services and hospitals. My duties were to complete assessments and write up care plans for individals wanting to remain independent in their own homes. I would go "on call" and be available for emergencies or to cover staff sickness. I also worked privately doing cleaning and providing companionship for a client . I enjoy working on my own or as part of a team. Have excellent communication skills and am very polite and friendly.
