• Provide direct care, support and assistance to clients • Assist clients with day-to-day tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, shopping and social activities • Monitor and encourage clients to take their medication as prescribed • Develop positive relationships with clients, their families and carers • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients at all times • Maintain accurate records of client care and progress • Liaise with healthcare professionals and other agencies to ensure the best possible care • Respond promptly to emergency situations • Ensure the house is clean and tidy at all times • Ensure that all client possessions and clothing are kept safe and secure • Monitor stock levels and order supplies when necessary • Assist with training and supervising new staff members.
