I was a self employed cleaner between April 2017 and April 2021. During this time, I worked 15 hours a week for my primary client in a large 8 bedroom property. I performed a variety of tasks including daily cleaning and tidying the kitchen, bathrooms and reception rooms, deep cleaning rooms when required, bed-changing, laundry and ironing. I also had a number of other regular clients that I performed weekly house cleaning services for. Prior to this, I was employed as a live-in Domestic Housekeeper working for a family of 3 in a large 7-bed manor house. Here, my role was to perform daily cleaning and tidying of the kitchen, lounge and main bedrooms, as well as deep clean each room in the house once a month, and all laundry and ironing. I ceased cleaning in April 2021 to concentrate on my work within my jewellery making business. I am now looking to secure some cleaning work to provide additional income alongside my business.
