I have managed a period house for 10 years and for over 4 years I was a live-in Housekeeper; for a large private house with antiques, 7 bedrooms, and ensuites, 4 reception rooms, a kitchen, a dedicated laundry, and outbuildings. As a Housekeeper: I undertake a mixture of duties - from laundry (caring for fine fabrics), ironing to dusting/hoovering, care of antiques, floor polishing. I also undertake pa duties, driving and the organisation of wardrobes and shopping. I offer food prep and cooking for midweek meals, dinner parties and functions I can also help with packing/unpacking for house moves and offer a 'declutter' service too.
