Unfortunately Joan didn't tell me that she wasn't coming until I contacted her 20 mins after our scheduled meeting time. She didn't answer my call but text straight away to say she didn't like the journey. I had arranged my day and work around our meeting time so would have really appreciated being told sooner. The excuses varied between not having my telephone number with her (despite the fact that I had text my address to her and we had arranged our meeting via text) not liking the journey to my house (through country lanes) Apparently Joan had done the journey twice and didn't like it so the polite thing that I personally would have done considering she was suggesting having almost gotten to my house, would have been to turn up and just say sorry I'm not keen on this journey so won't be taking on the job?! We had already discussed where I live and Joan didn't seem bothered by it then so I really don't know what happened here??
