I am currently working as a senior carer within a residential setting specializing mainly with dementia. My responsibilities also include some housekeeping duties such as cooking/preparing meals/drinks, cleaning of the kitchen, freezers and refrigerators. I also cover for the domestic staff when they are away on holiday by cleaning all of the 12 residents rooms from making the beds to cleaning all 10 bathrooms. In the past I worked for a cleaning company based in Malvern for just over a year before taking on work on a 'self employed' basis. I have also worked for a college cleaning and preparing meals within their vast kitchens. Although I do not have any 'formal' child caring qualifications, I have brought up 3 sons and also play a large part in the upbringing of my 3 year old grandson. I am passionate about everything I do. I strive to be/do the best I can. I have had a variety of jobs in the past and excelled at them. I believe in doing a job well-this is paramount.
