Hello my name is Amanda and I have had my own home for 21 years. I enjoy cleaning and always clean to a very high standard and I always keep the home neat and tidy. I also enjoy ironing, cooking, and shopping, so if you ever needed someone to carry out those tasks, you could call on me. I have also had previous experience in housekeeping at a hospital which has to be of very high standards. I've looked after elderly in their own homes which has usually involved cleaning, too.

At the interview with Amanda we discussed the job I required and terms were agreed. I was happy to hire Amanda as I thought that we suited each other very well; she agreed to start a couple of days later.
That, I regret to say, was the last time I saw or even heard from Amanda. I have no idea why she did not show up or even telephone me to say she had changed her mind.
