I have been caring for the elderly and disabled for over 20 years. I offer a range of services from personal care, medication, meal preparation, cleaning, shopping, escorting to appointments and very importantly provide companionship to those who live alone. I am very reliable, trustworthy and honest. I take my job very seriously and I enjoy caring for people, each client has different needs that I help with. It’s very important to know that I’m here to help people not to take over and do everything for them. I assist my clients to remain as independent as possible so that they can remain in their own homes. I can provide references from current clients and previous clients. I am trained in Moving & handling, medication, health & safety, first aid, infection control. I provide risk assessments and moving & handling assessments as well as detailed personal profiles for each client and I ensure that the care is tailored to meet their needs. I have experience working with people who have vascular dementia, dementia, learning difficulties, multiple sclerosis, multi neurons and many other disabilities. I can also offer adivice on how to get direct payments and organise meetings with social workers if required.
