I am a 51 year old female with Dementia care experience. 2 years full time looking after my in-laws (both). Both having later stage dementia but wanted to remain in their home. I did all personal care, cleaning, companionship, using rotunda and houses daily. Change catheters and support OT and nurses with dressings and administer medication. Both couldn’t walk well and not at all near the end. Supported end of life care with nurses. I also cared for my husband who had CJD so personal care full time. Bed bound.
