I am a 32 year old male with over 2 years experience in the care industry. I have experience working with people with complex learning difficulties/challenges both young and elderly. I am a cheerful, honest, dependable, and compassionate individual who takes great pride in their work and responsibilities as a carer. I am willing to accept new challenges both easy and hard with great enthusiasm. I am eager to learn new skills and involve myself in continuous trainings for the development of both my professional and personal skills. I work well under pressure and on my individual capacity, however I also work very well in a team. I am a very good communicator and I am able to collaborate well with my senior members and line managers. I believe that individuals with learning disabilities/difficulties thereof are just people with different opinions and perspectives. I believe in allowing these individuals to communicate their needs, wants and interests so that we can best find suitable solutions to help them live a fulfilling life.
