I feel that my experience as a PA, domiciliary care and childcare along with my compassionate and supportive nature gives me the tools I need to be a great PA. I enjoy the role of helping and assisting and like to do the best I can to provide support and help to the people that need it. I am dedicated and fast learning which helps me adapt to different roles and requirements. My experience in working with young children along with my experience in working with the older generation with impaired mental and physical abilities and my most recent role as a PA has helped me grow as a person and as a carer and I enjoy helping my clients to overcome daily challenges to improve their quality of life. I communicate well with others and spent a lot of time in my previous roles interacting with people within the home and with visitors and relatives coming to see their family. I am also very organised and work well doing a number of different tasks at once. I am not restricted to any working pattern and have experience working 12 hour night shifts as well as day shifts. I have experience using a ceiling and manual hoist and with the use of a ventilator, gastrostomy tube, cough assist and suction machine.
