I have been working in the care sector for 27yrs in a paid capacity aswell as in a voluntary role.I work well as part of a team or on a one to one basis ..I have completed numerous training courses to name a few,svq level 2 in direct care,protection of vulnerable adults,dementia awareness/care,moving & assisting,first aid,food hygiene,health & safety.I have certificates for these & many other courses I have undertaken & completed.I enjoy helping people & have a genuine empathy for others.I feel it is important for people who want to live in their owns homes to be able to do so comfortably & safely for aslong as they wish.I believe it is important to have continuity with carers for people needing assistance in their own homes.I like music & reading going on walks.I like animals & have no problem working in an environment were there are cats & dogs.I live alone & have no chlidren of my own,although I come from a big family & family is important to me..I am available for nitghtshifts/sleepovers on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday & can be available Saturday/Sunday to help out throughout the daytime..I live in the G53 area in greater pollok.
