I was a P.A to a Lady for two year assisting with personal care, meals and companionship. On relocating I have worked for 6 years in dementia care with several people that can present with behaviour that can challenge,gaining my care certificate and numerous other qualifications as well as being a meds giver. I prided myself in being able to give individual care and putting residents first, but now feel that the pressures of the environment I work in no longer allow this, so feel it is time to move on.
