I currently work in a nursing home part time mainly as an escort to hospital and doctor appointments, assisting the resident and liaising with the doctors and nurses. I help with events and activities and also as a one to one companion for residents that don't leave their room much. I have worked in the community also caring for the elderly in their homes. I find it so rewarding and my role enhances me as a person. I hope I make a difference to to an elderly person's day.
