Apart from working in a care home where I cared for vulnerable children and infirm elders I was able to care for my parents, two of them at the same time with chronic and complicated illness like Diabetes, arthritis, stroke and dementia. I took care of them for over a decade and I'm happy I was able to manage them with the help of my family doctor and my wife who is a nurse who taught me how to take vital signs and what to look for in patients to know if they are good or not.
