At present I am a registered childminder. When I first left school I was a carer for an elderly lady which I thoroughly enjoyed. On having my first daughter I worked in nursing homes on a part time basis. My own mother has dementia and I was her carer, but now she has regular daily carers. I would really love to get back into caring for the elderly again and would be willing to do any training necessary. For a short while I worked as a home help and did the relevant training but had to give up as I became a carer for my mother.
