My work experience encompasses many years of nursing and caring work. This includes 10 years as a nursing sister in a care home for the elderly in South Africa and ten-plus years of caring for the elderly in their own home both there and in the UK. I am adaptable and caring, and my strengths include empathy, patience and perseverance and these are often helped by a sense of humour. I can maintain a positive frame of mind under difficult circumstances.
