I started to work in health care in 1990 as an O/T assistant in an open NHS run residency. Since that date I've worked in several different location in England and Germany. I worked in care homes and in private homes, the one to one care in private homes is what I prefer to work in, because I can give a more person centred holistic care. I've been full self employed for just over a year and have been employed with a wide variety of employers from the NHS and Council run care to Care agencies. I have done manual handling, personal care, hoisting, food hygiene, safety at work, catheter care, medication care and manual feeding as requested by all my employers, and I my aim is to stay up to date with all my skills. I have worked with a wide variety of people and disabilities from low to medium dementia, multiple scleroses, and other age related disabilities. My Qualification is NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care. I am in possession of a clean UK driving license but do not have a car for now. I am currently available for work from Mondays to Sundays, early start to late finish
