Over 30 years experience in providing care I have attended courses relating to care and management. I have an up to date DBS and registered with the update service. Comfortable working in one to one situations and as part of a team. For the last 7 years I have been working as a team leader with a client who has an acquired Brain Injury within my role I work with Therapists, Family, legal teams and other professionals. I am responsible for completing care plans, risk assessments and guidelines. I am very passionate about providing the tools and motivation to enable clients and have a strong belief that every small step a client makes is the greatest leap to fulfilment. I am dedicated to making a real difference to a person’s life striving to motivate and support clients to reach their full potential. I have worked in the social care sector for over 35 years, after working as a support worker in a residential settings with elderly clients presenting with Alzheimer’s/ dementia within this role I worked in various sectors including learning disabilities, mental health, led and supported teams in providing high standards of care, person centered planning that provided the best outcomes possible.
