I am a conscientious, caring, & reliable carer, I take pride in providing person-centred cares whilst at the same time promoting & maintaining clients well-being & independence. I have worked in residential care homes & in clients own homes providing both live-in & live- out care, privately & through several care agencies. My studies over the years are extensive, & have recently done a Hospice training course in New Zealand. I live both in NZ & the UK, visiting the latter for 6 months every year to be closer to my aging mother and family. In the past in the UK I’ve worked as a live in carer, while in NZ I work privately as a carer/housekeeper/ companion as well as providing casual relief at one of the rest homes town when they require a senior medication HCA. I find I have plenty of free time when I’m in the UK, I really do miss working when I’m over here, not only to keep my skills active but to make a difference to someone & give me a purpose. I do not want full time work, but if you are wanting to take a break, or your regular carers would like time off, I would be very happy to help & can provide live-in care if you are the primary carer wanting respite.
