I am a confident individual who loves caring for others. I have recieved training in many areas in care, some of which are, safeguarding vulnerable adults, mental health capacity act, health and safety, moving and handling, dementia care and different types of dementia, first aid training . I currently work for Cumbria County Council, on a zero hour basis, I work within a care home, I support individuals to be as independent as possible and support them in all areas in which they no longer are, this includes personal care, assistance to and from the toilet, dressing and undressing, companionship, activities, mobility support. I have regular dbs checks and also have completed my NVQ 2 + 3 in health and social care. My current role requires that I complete 15 hours training each month and all training that is required of me for my role is up to date.
