I've only been a carer for 5 months. I really wanted to do more and becoming a carer has helped to achieve this. I've looked after 2 elderly men. One with dementia and one who had MS. Being there friend and a companion. I learnt how to use the hoists, administer medication and also over duties. House cleaning, cooking and giving our clients showers and keeping them clean and tidy at all time's. Being the friend and keeping them company.
