My name is Sophie, I am 24 years old and have worked in the healthcare sector since 2018. I started off going to college and studying health and social care, I then got a job working for adults with additional needs within their homes alongside my college course. After this, I began working for the NHS, looking after children with complex health conditions in a respite centre, building relationships with the children and the families. I completed 3 years in this unit, and transferred to the A&E department at Basingstoke hospital, where I worked for a year, gaining a bucket load of experience and knowledge. I then started my nursing degree, as an apprenticeship alongside working in elderly care wards, respiratory wards and many others. This is my current job. I am looking to continue helping and caring for individuals in the community.
