I've worked with vulnerable adults on and off since 2000. I've worked in Workington Custody suit as a DIP worker for CRI. I've worked as an outreach worker for a charity in Workington. And I've trained and qualified as a person centred counsellor in the Primary care mental health team over in Workington, working directly with people of all ages and backgrounds. I've ran my own business and I've brought up my family. I've cared for my own mother until we lost her last year, whilst caring for my mum I learned finding good, reliable, trustworthy carers was essential but almost impossible. So this is why I've now come back into work, to hopefully give good care and support where I can to individuals and their family's when they need it.
