I have experience of looking after the elderly in both hospital settings and within the home through my job in the ambulance service and with members of my own family. I am confident in supporting with medications, offering companionship, running errands, helping to mobilise, taking out to appointments/shops and washing if required. I work full time so this would be on an occasional basis only and not on a regular basis. For instance, one off appointments or sickness of usual carer.
