My name is Sheethi and I have worked as a healthcare assistant/support worker for 2years. I have delivered exceptional care to tenants with mental health issues at Lillibet Manor, Bedfordshire, and patients with dementia at Highland Borders Care Home, Exeter, fostering trust and promoting well-being. During this time I have built strong relationships with individuals, actively supporting them through continuous assistance and personalized care. I have worked closely with tenants and have strived create a stimulating and varied programme of leisure activities and social events, inside and outside of the home, for residents to enjoy. Few of my responsibilities include • serving patients meals and assisting with feeding when necessary • monitoring patients' conditions by taking pulse, respirations, and weight • Ensuring that supplies and medical equipment are replenished. • Improving the mobility of patients. • Setting up equipment required by healthcare professionals. • Taking the temperature, blood pressure, and recording the results. • Preparing patients for therapy. • Making up beds, giving out bedpans, and collecting bedpans.
