I have worked in the care sector since 2009 in general hospitals, nursing homes, residential homes and with private patients in home cares. I have worked closely with mental health issues including dementia, worked with those who needed end of life care and those with long term sicknesses. I enjoy caring and being there for the vulnerable. Being able to provide the support they do need and promoting individualism and independence. Some of the tasks include personal care, general cleaning maintaining safety answering and reporting to the nurse in charge. Manual handling and moving.
