I have experience working with the elderly people in care homes. These have different types of conditions varying from Dementia, Depression, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, motor Neuron disease and stroke. The work that I carry out on a day to day basis is to meet their daily needs. The duties include, cleaning, feeding the service users, assisting with incontinence needs, shopping and writing reports. I also administer medication to the service users that are on different medications Having held a position as care coordinator; I managed a small team of staff by delegating duties and tasks for the day. Among my duties included booking in medication, supervision and team meetings. During my free time, I love to spend time with my family, take walks, listening to music, going to church, swimming and watching movies.
