I have been a carer now for nearly 2 years and I enjoy it immensely. I do not see it as a job , I see it as helping people stay independent ,in their own homes , with the dignity they deserve . I have experience with personal care, medication, equipment , catheters , communication with doctors and District nurses , spotting signs of infection, I've worked with dementia patients, Parkinson , and palliative care...every aspect of care and with 20 years experience as a housekeeper I keep a home clean and tidy .
