I have worked as a Carer for over 10 years now, assisting people in their own homes with all aspects of their care needs, including personal care, medication administration, manual handling/positioning needs, domestic task, food preparation and assisting on outings or appointments. I have professional and personal experience with a wide range of disabilities, illnesses and complex care needs. Some examples include; dementia, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and strokes, as well as catheter/stoma care and gastronomy PEG tubes.
