My primary duties include assisting clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication management, and enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life. I may also be involved in light housekeeping, and running errands for clients who may have difficulty doing so themselves. Additionally, I will monitor clients' health status, observing for any changes or concerns and communicating these to the appropriate medical professionals or family members. One of the most important aspects of my role is providing emotional support and companionship to my clients and my presence can make a significant difference in their day-to-day lives.
