I have 31 years experience supporting older people and people with learning disabilities. I am currently self employed. I have been a self employed Home care assistant for 7 years. I support people who have Dementia live in their own homes. I have also supported people who live in assisted living. I take them shopping, support with housework, meal prep, personal care, and also attend singing for the brain , dementia cafe, and other activities which people are interested in participating in. I’m trustworthy, reliable, good communication & listening skills, and have a sense of humour. Most importantly I feel I can offer kindness & support to a person.
