I have worked extensively with the elderly working in the Wills, Trust, and Probate team at a solicitors’. This has helped me improve my skills and professionalism in dealing with vulnerable, often bed-bound elderly clients - particularly how important it is to maintain their dignity and to show genuine empathy and compassion. After my own grandparents began to require care, I have become increasingly concerned about the quality of carers - I would now like the opportunity to provide the care to others that I would like my grandparents to receive.
