I started working as a Medical Secretary in 1991 for the Mental Health team in Southampton and also as a carer. During this time I have looked after mainly elderly people with Alzheimer's dementia and find this work very rewarding. I have been involved with personal care, washing, dressing, giving meds, cooking meals, sitting, cleaning, taking out, shopping and anything that I can do to help. I deem myself to be kind, patient and trustworthy. I have always built up a good rapport with the client and their family.
