I worked in Riverside in Sherborne for a year some time ago so not sure if that counts but it was a good introduction to learning about dementia and alzheimers. Then in 2004 to 2006 I worked as an Arts Facilitator at Greenacres in Trowbridge which was a residential home for the elderly, I loved my time there I went twice a week in the afternoons to do art activities with them. I Think they enjoyed themselves. I would be more than happy to look after an elderly lady or gentleman I always lived far away from my grandparents so whenever the opportunity arose to be with older people I took it. I am an excellent cook so they would be well taken care of.
