I gave cared for the elderly for many years I have great empathy for the older generation and firmly believe it is far nicer to be able to stay in your own home than being uprooted toast strange place where quiet often it is difficult for the client to cope with I have had one 93 dementia lady for 5 years and it was with great sadness that the family decided that she would have to go to a nursing home as she had become a danger to herself during the night it was a mutual desistion and I respect the families choice but I gave an excellent refs from them I also have two terminal clients which I strive to make their lives as comfortable as possible by taking the worry away when it comes to chores around the house /shopping /personal care and any help they require especially with hospital appointments
