I am looking to work closer to home after years of working across the country as an education consultant in FE/HE Apprenticeships. I cared for my mum in her own home to the end of her life and I witnessed just how important that was to her and my siblings. Just knowing that mum was safe in her own home and surrounded by her friends and family allowed her to have a peaceful death; the alternative for my mum of dying in hospital was not an option. I would really love to offer that same support compassion and companionship to others in their time of utmost need. I am married with two grown up stepchildren and am the doggy mum to two little Jack/Parson terriers. We live right by the beach in Lee on the Solent and walk every day. I also enjoy run/walking the local Parkrun most Saturdays at Lee and push our friends 2 and half year old twin boys, who just love spotting the spitfire and boats out on the Solent.
