Hello I am Pam, a qualified Nurse and Social Worker with over 28 years experience. Working as a personal assistance and carer is something I have done for over 10 years. I provide personalised care to adults aged 18-65, and older adults aged 65 plus. I provide care in your home such as personal care, companionship and support, Palliative care and care of people with dementia and other conditions. I provide care that is safe, compassionate, respectful and with dignity. Care in the home is a common practice in my culture, and something I advocate for. Should this not be possible, I support the person to seek what service is suitable for them. I work closely with professionals such as Nurses, Social workers, Occupational therapist, GPs and Pharmacists should this be needed. I have knowledge and experience of Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments, and happy to support with this, should it be required. I have an Enhanced DBS and Public Liability Insurance.
