While I do not have formal experience with elderly care I have looked after older family members and vulnerable community members in volunteering positions. I have worked with Barrow. With Barrow I would volunteer at Callington Road Psychiatric hospital. Here I would provide company, conversation and tea and coffee preparation for residents. I have volunteered with young people at the YMCA. As a WISE ambassador I would prepare and deliver educational material for at risk young people. Befriender. As a befriender with Changes Bristol I talk regularly offering support and advice to young adults with mental health difficulty.
