I have had beautiful opportunity taking care of my grannies both paternal and maternal! They all had challenges in one way or the other, my paternal grandma had dimentia and hearing issues, I was left to taking care of her till she passed on. I was with them both even in their dying period! I love to take care of people and elders , being conscious of what they need and at what time is very necessary, companionship and communication keeps them going and independent to their needs not taking the opportunity totally away to do the little they can do for themselves even when they aren’t able to move around.
