I have worked in the elderly care sector since I was 18 years old and honestly can say it is a passion to enable individuals to live as independently as possible and empower them to live the lives they would be happy with. I am currently an operations manager for voyage care for services for elderly individuals and aquired brain injuries, and I am looking to still deliver hands on care like I had started as I am now further removed from this in my role, but it is what gives me the most joy. I have all training required to support with personal care, medication and nutrition management and can evidence this. I am also on the DBS update service.
