Over the years I have worked in various care industries. While gaining qualifications in numerous areas. These qualifications, include BTEC Diploma level 3 and NVQ level 3 in Health and social care, BTEC Diploma in mathematics and English, BTEC in Health and social care. These were carried out at Leek and Buxton college campus. Pearson Education Limited was also where I gained some of my qualifications. During my time working in care homes and community care work I began to work at Harewood Park Rehabilitation Care nursing home. While working at Harewood Park, I gained a lot of experience working with young people and adults with learning disability and with mental health issues from a variety of backgrounds. In rehabilitation, it is very rewarding, as you work with people who eventually can return to society and are able to look after themselves independently. I was lucky enough to work with people and give them life skills to be able to live happily in the society we live now. For example, shopping, self-care, taking them to club activities for them to gain independence.
