Hi, I'm Miriam. I have worked in different sectors of care like end of life care for babies, young children, spinal cord and brain injuries, dementia care, mental health & learning disabilities in a residential and personal home setting. Through this I have acquired skills such as PEG feeds, tracheostomy, moving & handling, personal care in all aspects, administration of medication, epilepsy, record keeping and more. I am on the update service for an enhanced DBS with both adults and children. I have worked in a residential and personal setting with elderly who have Alzheimer’s and dementia. I have cared for elderly who have spinal or brain injuries aswell as the elderly who sometimes just need a bit of companionship. I am very passionate about my care career and love helping anyone who needs it. I have been working in care for 4 years with a perfect record. My hobbies include hiking, journal writing, drawing and playing video games.
