I have been a care assistant for nine years. I did all my training in a residential home in Dorset which I worked for six years, before moving to Devon, since living here in Torquay I worked for an agency which gave me the opportunity to work within a complex needs home where I learnt alot about people who were paralysed, people with cerebral palsy and other complex needs. I have a real passion for my career and decided to become self employed and look after clients in their own homes, this I feel gives them a much more personal quality of care. I am hard working and I care greatly about my job and often go the extra mile to make sure everything is all okay.
