I have previous experience of working with 1 elderly lady privately for around 1 year and have her family members contact information as references if required. Before that I have worked within the care sector out in the community but prefer providing a one on one basis so I am able to provide the full needs of the client without being rushed and on a time scale. I have had training and have skills within administering medication, assisting of personal care, general house work and shopping, providing emotional and practical support, helping organising social activities and assisting to personal appointments and being the daily companion some people do not have. I would ideally be looking for work around my full time job Monday to Friday. Previously I would arrange to visit before my working day assist with preparing her for the day and attend for a few hours in the evening to provide my client with company and assist with her evening routine. I am also flexible to continue this throughout weekends or just provide a weekend service depending on your needs and requirements.
